Applying to Canada from the Philippines?
Canada is one of the top destinations for Filipino workers, especially in healthcare, caregiving, and hospitality. Canadian regulations protect you — if you work with a licensed consultant.
How to evaluate any consultant from the Philippines
- Check the license. Every legitimate Canadian immigration consultant appears in the CICC public register at register.college-ic.ca. If they’re not there, walk away. (We’re RCIC – Level 2 (L2), License No. R532561 — check us too.)
- Beware of guarantees. Only IRCC decides applications. “Guaranteed PR” or “100% visa success” is the clearest fraud signal in this industry.
- Get a written agreement. Regulated consultants must provide a service agreement listing scope and fees before taking your money.
- Location doesn’t matter — accountability does. Consultations, document collection, and IRCC submissions are all remote. A licensed consultant in Canada is more accountable to you than an unlicensed agent nearby.
