Success Stories

Real journeys, real approvals

Every story on this page is a real Canunite client, published with their written consent. We never buy, borrow, or invent stories — that’s a promise a regulated consultant has to keep.

Our first stories are being written right now

Canunite is a new legal entity, and we hold ourselves to a strict standard: we only publish the journeys of our own clients, with their written consent. As our first clients receive their approvals, their stories will appear here — origin, pathway, timeline, and their own words. The example journeys below show what these pathways typically look like in the meantime.

Until then, verify what matters most — our license. Look up License No. R532561 in the CICC public register.

What these journeys typically look like

Illustrative scenarios — not client accounts. Timelines are realistic public ranges, never promises.

Example journey

PR & Citizenship

Express Entry — Federal Skilled Worker

A skilled professional abroad with strong language scores and 5+ years of experience

The journey starts with an ECA for their degree and an IELTS sitting aimed at CLB 9+. With the profile in the pool, we watch draw trends and — where the score needs help — pursue a provincial nomination. After the Invitation to Apply, IRCC processing of the PR application commonly takes about six months.

Typically 8–14 months end to end

Example journey

Work Permits

Employer-Specific Work Permit (LMIA)

A cook or tradesperson with a job offer from a Canadian employer

We work both sides of the file: the employer’s Labour Market Impact Assessment — advertising, wage compliance, submission — and the applicant’s work permit that follows it. Once the LMIA is approved, the permit application goes to IRCC with the offer, credentials, and proof the applicant meets the job requirements.

Typically 4–9 months including the LMIA

Example journey

Study

Study Permit → PGWP → Permanent Residency

A student choosing a program with a post-graduation pathway in mind

The program choice is the strategy: a designated learning institution and credential length that earn a strong post-graduate work permit. After graduation, Canadian work experience opens the Canadian Experience Class — the study plan is designed backwards from that goal on day one.

A multi-year plan: permit in 2–4 months, PR after graduation and work experience

Example journey

Family

Spousal Sponsorship

A citizen or PR sponsoring their spouse, applying from inside or outside Canada

Relationship evidence decides these files: how the couple met, communication history, joint finances, and statements from people who know them. We build the evidence package deliberately, and where eligible, pair the sponsorship with a spousal open work permit so the applicant can work while waiting.

IRCC’s published standard is about 12 months

Example journey

Business

Provincial Entrepreneur Stream

A business owner ready to invest in and actively manage a Canadian business

These programs run in stages: an expression of interest with a business concept, a performance agreement with the province, arrival on a work permit to launch the business, and — once the agreed milestones are met — a provincial nomination leading to permanent residency.

Typically 1–2 years to a work permit, then nomination and PR
